The Sunyshore CybirdZ roster is growing!
As this season of the Citrus League rages on, the CybirdZ have signed on 5 new players to inject some life into the team mid-season! Aya brings the news to you, and introduces the new CybirdZ players!
Although the CybirdZ core is already fairly solid, it can never hurt to reinforce things. By Citrus League rules, each team is to add 5 new members for the remaining half of the season, so the CybirdZ have picked up new talent, a mix of those who didn't make the cut originally and brand new faces who saw the CybirdZ and wanted in. Without further ado, let's get to know the new faces!
Glenn Scorsese
he/him
The first addition to the crew, Glenn originally tried out for the season's start but didnt make the cut. After a few weeks of training though, he was quickly admitted to the team, and is set to be a strong contender against the current meta threats. "My strength? I don't want to give away too much... but my fangs are quite sharp! Just don't point any lights at me!"
Andrew Everglade
he/him
The next new member, Andrew was inspired by watching the CybirdZ's matches, and brought himself to Sunyshore to apply to the team. He has a very humble personality, and when asked about what strengths he added to the team simply shrugged and said, "I'm just doing my best out there. Just a guy doin what he can for the team." His teammates said he's a very positive presence, and think he is maybe underselling himself a bit.
Peach Yew
she/her
Peach may not look particularly intimidating, and perhaps she may be just a flash in the pan, but she's young and full of energy, and helps the CybirdZ keep up high spirits! Not native to Sinnoh, she travelled from the nearby Johto region wishing to compete. "Sure, I could just play for a local league. But I know I have what it takes to be in the Citrus League! And I think the CybirdZ see that potential in me too!"
Sebastian-dono
he/him
An old veteran warrior from the days of Feudal Kanto, Sebastian-dono is grizzled but rock-hard in his determination. His 'shield wall' tactics are unique, and the CybirdZ gladly took him in when he showed interest in the team. "There are not many left of us who practice the old ways. The kids these days are all about going hard and hitting fast, but this old man's got a thing or two to show em. Let them come, their rapid blows shall bounce off my armour!"
Kandice Weaver
she/her
Last, but not least, of the new CybirdZ members. Kandice is very snarky and quick-witted, which made it a bit difficult for us to find a printable quote from her. "Look, I don't know why I wasn't already on this team... but now that I'm here, I plan on tearing up the Citrus League! Those [other teams] won't know what hit 'em!" Needless to say, she's quite confident in her performance on the CybirdZ, and we're excited to see her deliver!
