backstory

• Born many years ago as a son of the current head of the Lakatos clan of vampires. the Lakatos are a longstanding bloodline, going back to the age of Vlad Țepeș, with the ancestral Lakatos being one of his servants. Or so they say, anyways. Their reputation nowadays is nothing particularly exciting, partly because vampires have learned to live alongside humans in relative peace rather than being terrors of the night.
• Years later, after some self-discovery, came out and chose the name Violetta for herself. Her father was slightly disappointed that she wouldn't be carrying on the clan's bloodline, but got over it and supports his daughter.
• Violetta currently works a mind-numbingly boring night shift job at a hotel. She tried working the dayshift a couple times, but the hotel attracts a lot of tourists visiting the Transylvania area and they... do not act very normally when meeting an actual vampire in-person. Night shift still has weirdos but they're the regular kind of weirdos you find at hotels at night rather than people making microaggressions.
• Spends most of her free time off-work either asleep or talking to friends online, with rare excursions to visit malls and arcades.
