story

• Before the Alliance and Horde crashed into Pandaria, he was a stage magician who used the elements (mostly lightning) to add flashiness and excitement to his magic show. You could argue that using actual nature magic defeats the purpose of stage magic, but hes just having a good time.
• When the time comes for him to choose a faction and join the fight, he joins the Horde due to their stronger connections to shamanism, and the Earthen Ring teaches him how to use the powers of the elements to their full potential.

personality

• He's very upbeat and loves to show off his talents when given the opportunity. He loves performing for a crowd, to the point he sometimes makes up spectators in his head to cheer him on.
• Even if nobody is watching, he's always doing tricks and adding flair to his spellcasting. He's given most of his spells ridiculous names and often shouts them out while using them. That or making dramatic speeches like "Oh great and powerful lightning, grant me the awesome power to defeat my foe!"
