- Pronunciation guide: Dye-ann Loon-deh-veed-nwar
- She has very good eyesight but as a downside her eyes are super photo-sensitive, so she prefers going outside when its nighttime or raining out so she doesn't have to deal with direct sunlight. Was unaware of this fact until she was summoned to The First, where the light-infused world effectively blinded her. She discussed this with her fellow Scions and realized that she is infact abnormal ("What do you mean you can walk around Limsa at midday and not tear up?"). To combat this, she acquired a large-brimmed witch hat to block out the light, and has kept wearing it ever since.
- Is a scarily good tracker, if you are in a place where you could be found, she Will find you if she puts her mind to it. Mainly she uses this talent to surprise her friends by appearing out of nowhere.
- Mainly focused on the aetherology/elemental aspects of astromancy and its combat applications, doesn't really understand the divination stuff or what the arcana mean. She also never properly learned to channel diurnal aether, focusing on nocturnal. At the time she assumed she just had a skill issue attuning to the sun's aether, but now realizes it's because of her photosensitivity that she couldn't effectively focus on channeling the sun's light.
- Doesn't drink alcohol due to an undisclosed incident from her past. Her drink of choice is fruit juice, and her favourite is red grape juice.
- She supposedly has a very distinct Duskwight accent from what others have told her, but she has no idea what that means. To her she just sounds normal.
- Dianne's patron goddess is Menphina, the Lover.

- Once the whole Lahabrea thing was over and she got to talk to the real Thancred they quickly became good buds and can frequently be seen together at social gatherings involving the scions. If Dianne drank they would probably be menaces of the tavern scene. They definitely have some random inside jokes about Limsa/Roguery that none of the other scions remotely understand.
